DR. VALU

Dr. Valuyeetham Kamaru Ambu is a highly respected Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT), Head & Neck Surgeon and Neurotologist with more than 34 years of extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing complex ENT and neuro-otological conditions. He is widely recognised for his expertise in advanced surgical techniques, microsurgery, skull base procedures and cochlear implant–related care.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Valuyeetham has served as Head of Department and Senior Consultant at several major public and private hospitals in Malaysia. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening clinical services, improving patient outcomes and implementing hospital accreditation, ISO quality management and national ENT subspecialty initiatives.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Valuyeetham is deeply committed to medical education, research and training. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Universiti Perdana and an Adjunct Lecturer at the International Medical University (IMU). Over the years, he has successfully mentored and trained more than 30 ENT specialists, many of whom are now gazetted consultants serving across Malaysia.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Valuyeetham is a dedicated Rotarian of over 24 years, actively involved in community health outreach, public education programmes and humanitarian initiatives, reflecting his strong commitment to holistic patient care and societal well-being.
